Bed Sheet Sale Fundraiser Jan. 15 – 29

Hello Band Parents,

Welcome Back!

Happy New Year and welcome back! We hope that you enjoyed the holidays. Both the RMS and SHS Band programs are back in full swing in preparation for our important upcoming performances at State Music Performance Assessment, or MPA. As always, we are very proud of each and every one of our students and all of their hard work. Spring is a busy time of year. Please check the band calendar and watch for regular email updates from both directors.

Bed Sheet Sale Fundraiser

Band is an expensive endeavor! In order to help ease the financial burden of membership, we are starting several fundraising activities that will help students and parents pay towards their fees. The first event is a Bed Sheet Sale. As strange as that may sound, it is actually a really great idea….1800 thread count sheet sets for $40 each; all sizes! You could NEVER find that kind of deal on sheets, and everybody needs them!

All band students 6-12 grade will bring home an order form with important pricing information today. The sale will run Thurs Jan. 15th – Thurs Jan. 29th. All order forms and money must be turned into the directors no later than Friday, January 30thChecks should be made payable to: The Pride Music Association.

We expect orders to be delivered approximately two weeks after the total order is placed. We will need approximately 10 parent volunteers on the day that the sheets arrive to help organize orders. We will send out information regarding exact pick up dates and times as soon as we know them.

Remember, all of the money your raise goes back to the student’s towards their fees. You can even get a head’s start on next year’s dues if you have already paid in full.

Good luck selling & Go PRIDE GO!

Regarding Charms Statements

Hello Band Parents!

What an amazing start to the year we’ve had!  Both the RMS & SHS bands have already accomplished so much this semester, and we could not be prouder of all our students.  Thank you parents for taking the time to volunteer your time and money and for investing your kids in the band program.  As always, we strive to provide an experience that is uplifting, engaging, and meaningful for our students.  We could not do this without your continued support!

Financial Statements were sent out earlier this week via Charms Office Assistant.  Charms allows you as a parent to keep track of your child’s information, and communicate and receive information from the directors.  We do our best to update information in Charms in a timely manner, however; sometimes errors are made.

We have just re-issued statements.  If you feel that the information you receive is in error, please contact us and we will do our absolute best to resolve any issues.  For questions regarding middle school students and 8th grade marchers students, please email Mrs. Probst at: alicia_probst@ecboe.org .  For questions regarding high school students, please email Mr. Weaver at: matt_weaver@ecboe.org.

Thanks & GO PRIDE GO!
